Return and Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping with Bookshub! We strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, please review our Return and Exchange Policy below for information on how to return or exchange items.

1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns for books that are unused, in their original condition, and with the original packaging. Books that have been read, marked, or damaged are not eligible for return.

2. Return Process

To return a book, please follow these steps:

  1. Request a Return: Contact our customer service team at bookshubdotin@gmail.com to initiate a return request within 5 days after receiving the order. Include your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Receive Return Instructions: We will provide you with instructions on how to return the item and a return authorization number, if applicable.
  3. Prepare the Package: Pack the book securely in its original packaging. Include a copy of the original receipt or order confirmation inside the package.
  4. Ship the Return: Send the package to the address provided in the return instructions. Please use a trackable shipping service to ensure that the return reaches us.
3. Return Shipping Costs
  • Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item sent, damaged book).
  • Refund: Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
4. Refunds
  • Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect the returned book, we will process your refund. Please allow 2-3 business days for the refund to be credited back to your original payment method.
  • Partial Refunds: If only a portion of your order is returned, we will issue a refund for the returned items only. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
5. Exchanges
  • Eligibility: Exchanges are only possible for books that are in new, unused condition. If you wish to exchange a book, please follow the return process outlined above and place a new order for the desired book.
  • Exchange Shipping Costs: You are responsible for the shipping costs of the new book if you are exchanging a returned item. If the exchange is due to an error on our part, we will cover the shipping costs.
6. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective book, please contact our customer service team immediately at bookshubdotin@gmail.com. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Books that are marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase
  • Items marked as “final sale” or “non-returnable” in the product description

We reserve the right to modify this Return and Exchange Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website and services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
